Lunch Club
Lunch Club is now provided within the Nursery School session for all children, from the term after they are three.
We ask parents to provide their child with a small lunch box and try to place things inside that their child likes i.e. sandwiches, small packet of crisps, yoghurt etc. Please try not to over face your child. We are a healthy Pre-school and ask that you bear this in mind when making up your child’s lunch. We follow Wilsden Primary Schools policy of not allowing children to bring in bars of chocolate or similar in their lunch boxes.
Please can you clearly write your child’s name on the outside of their lunch box as we have had instances where a child has eaten the wrong lunch because of selecting a similar lunch box to another child’s.
Lunch Boxes are placed on our special trolley situated in the corridor outside our play room. They are then transferred into our fridge where they are stored until lunch time begins. Children are supervised by three lunch time staff. The children eat their packed lunch together then if fine go out to play until afternoon session begins.
