World Book Day - 6th March
We had a great time yesterday at our World Book Day open afternoon. Thank you to everyone that joined us for our activities. We hope you enjoyed the gruffalo crumble!

Did you know that there is a holiday club available in Wilsden Village Hall during the school holidays? They are registered to take children from age 3 and over and they are open from 8am until 5.30pm

Year 2 - Shape Challenge
This week we are looking at shape and thought we could have a bit of a challenge! How many different shapes can you include in a lunchbox? Let your child help to pack their lunch - you could include different shaped sandwiches, biscuits, fruit, cake - let your imaginations run wild and be creative!
Year 1 Admissions
We will shortly be starting to look at September 2014 admissions for Year 1 children which is for children born between 01/09/2011 and 31/08/2012.
If you haven't done so already, please complete and return our Admissions Form so we can register your child's details on our records.

Wellies & Waterproofs and spare clothing
Can you please ensure that you send your child with the appropriate clothes for outdoor play e.g waterproof suits and wellies. Also please could you provide a spare set of clothing each day in their pump bag too, as we play out whatever the weather at nursery.

Footwear and Pump Bags
Please send your child to nursery in shoes with velcro fastenings. Laces are a trip hazard and also stop your child being able to dress themselves independently Please can we politely remind you to send your child each day with a pump bag containing a change of clothes including.
- socks and underwear
- waterproof clothing ie trousers and raincoat
Are you concerned about your childs Speech and Language Development
If so Speech and Language Therapyy Drop In Sessions may be of interest to you. This is where you and your child can see and have a talk with a Speech and Language

All sessions take place on a Wednesday from 9.30 am until 11.30 am.

Some children are more than just "shy". They may have a real fear of talking in different places, or with different people. If children talk happily at home, but not in other siturations, they could have Selective Mutism. Cineworld Autism Friendly Film Showings
