Week commencing 30th January

Musical Instruments - Year 2 Children only

 We are currently looking at different types of musical instruments at nursery and exploring how the sounds they make can be changed.  This is to support your child’s creative development.

If your child has any instruments could they bring them in this week please so that we can make a nursery band!  Also, if you are able to play an instrument and would like to come in and show the children please speak to your child’s key person.

OFSTED Self Evaluation

We regularly evaluate our setting and we would welcome your comments to help us with the evaluation.  We are currently evaluating the following:-

"The extent to which children make a positive contribution to the setting".

When thinking about this you could consider:-

-Children's enjoyment of and attitudes towards learning, including their desire to participate and their willingness to make choices.

-How well children behave, join in, co-operate and share with each other.

-How well children make friends, respect each other and tolerate each others differences.

-The extent to which children respond to the expectations of those who work with them.

-Children's ability to make appropriate choices and decisions.
