The two foundation stage teachers from Wilsden Primary School have joined our committee.
This will improve our partnership working and transition with Wilsden Primary School.

School Admissions - 18/11/2015
If your child is in Year 2 (DOB between 1 Sept 2011 and 31 Aug 2012) you must apply for a primary school place by 15th January 2016.
If we have received an admissions pack for your child we will pass it on to you this week. If your child attends another nursery or goes to a childminder for more hours than they attend Wilsden Village Nursery, their admissions pack will have been sent to them instead of us.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - We have been informed by Early Years that carrier bags and drawstring pump-bags are now regarded as a breach of Health & Safety by Ofsted. From September 2015, your child will need to bring their belongings to Nursery in a back-pack only. Thank you for your co-operation.
IMPORTANT NOTICE - 14/10/2015
The disabled ramp access in to the village hall is awaiting repair and we would recommend that you do not use it until the repairs have been completed.
The village hall team had previously put some tape on the railings of the ramp to make you aware that there was a problem but this seems to have blown away over recent weeks.
Wellies, waterproofs and spare clothing
Can you please ensure that you send your child with the appropriate clothes for outdoor play e.g waterproof suits and wellies. Also please could you provide a spare set of clothing each day in their bag too, as we play out whatever the weather at nursery.

Footwear and Bags
Please send your child to nursery in shoes with velcro fastenings. Laces are a trip hazard and they also stop your child being able to dress themselves independently. Please can we politely remind you to send your child each day with a bag containing a change of clothes including. Due to health & safety, please do not send your child's things in a carrier bag or a drawstring bag.

Are you concerned about your childs Speech and Language Development
If so Speech and Language Therapy Drop In Sessions may be of interest to you. This is where you and your child can see and have a talk with a Speech and Language
