School Admissions - 18/11/2015

If your child is in Year 2 (DOB between 1 Sept 2011 and 31 Aug 2012) you must apply for a primary school place by 15th January 2016.

If we have received an admissions pack for your child we will pass it on to you this week.  If your child attends another nursery or goes to a childminder for more hours than they attend Wilsden Village Nursery, their admissions pack will have been sent to them instead of us.

Visit www.bradford.gov.uk/admissions to apply online.

If you need more information you can contact the Admissions Team on 01274 439200 or via email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

IMPORTANT NOTICE - We have been informed by Early Years that carrier bags and drawstring pump-bags are now regarded as a breach of Health & Safety by Ofsted.  From September 2015, your child will need to bring their belongings to Nursery in a back-pack only.  Thank you for your co-operation.

The disabled ramp access in to the village hall is awaiting repair and we would recommend that you do not use it until the repairs have been completed.

The village hall team had previously put some tape on the railings of the ramp to make you aware that there was a problem but this seems to have blown away over recent weeks.

Wellies, waterproofs and spare clothing

Can you please ensure that you send your child with the appropriate clothes for outdoor play e.g waterproof suits and wellies.  Also please could you provide a spare set of clothing each day in their bag too, as we play out whatever the weather at nursery.
